I won’t lie—the first Indie Comics Creator Con was incredibly stressful. With so many moving parts and over 100 creators putting their faith in me, I was constantly worried about meeting everyone’s expectations. But despite the chaos, one thing stood out: every time I walked through the showroom floor, there was one person who was always smiling. That smile kept me grounded and motivated throughout the day.
