You've made your book. It's in your hands. Next step: get it into some comic shops! Join Lee Heidel, the owner of Neighborhood Comics, as he guides you through submitting your book to stores and what he looks for in indie comics.

The Taste Makers
What catches the eye of the taste maker? Join Mike Marts (Mad Cave), Heather Antos (IDW), and Eli Schwab (Cosmic Lion Productions) as they discuss what they look for in a creator's work and what makes a creator hireable.

Asking Good Questions
In this day and age where everyone has a podcast, questions can get a little… samey. Just how many times can we ask Dan Clowes what brush he uses? Break the mold! Join comics journalists Anthony Composto and Manny Gomez as they hash out some better ways to talk about the medium we love.
3:00-3:45 PM
Day One
So you want to make a comic? You've got the idea but how do you start? Join creators Chris Anderson, Ro Higashi, and Wesley Griffith as they talk about getting a project out of their heads and on to the page.
4:00-5:00 PM
The Jamie/Mahdi Power Hour
Two unnamed artists, one secret prompt, in a drawing duel to the death! All while cartoonists Jamie Jones and Mahdi Khene try to dig into the creative process live and in person!
After Party
This is another opportunity to hang out with friends in a casual atmosphere. All are welcome.
