Coney Island Cyclone, 2020-2025 - I might live in Connecticut, but my heart is still in Brooklyn, NY. This broadside comic recounts tales my grandfather told me of growing up in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, spending days at Coney Island with my grandmother when they were only sweetheart teens. A previously printed pair, John, Carmela and the Wonder Wheel was distributed with Desert Island Comics’ Smoke Signal All Coney Island Issue in 2018.

Kai Jung is the most popular and handsome boy in school. Girls are constantly confessing that they have crushes on him, but he turns them all down because he’s got his eyes set on a boy who plays baseball. Sam Jones, the new kid. When Kai receives a letter to meet a secret admirer on the rooftop but the girl chickens out, and Sam has to retrieve his jacket from the rooftop after having left it there during lunch, the two meet and Kai assumes the letter is from Sam and agrees to date before Sam can even comprehend what is happening.

Out of League is launching shortly before IC3. You can find the webcomic on Webtoon and Tapas. Attendees of IC3 will be able to show proof of following the series for a free sticker at Rainy Cacti’s table. Series merchandise such as prints, stickers, and the proof-of-concept mini comic will also be available at their table.
