Oh wow - Eisner-winning Gideon Kendall will be at Indie Comics Creator Con on March 9th!
GIDEON KENDALL is the Eisner-winning, Ringo! Award-nominated and Reuben Award-nominated artist of Harvey Kurtzman’s Marley’s Ghost (ComiXology), Eric Powell’s Lester of the Lesser Gods (Dark Horse/Albatross Funnybooks) and MegaGhost (Dark Horse/Albatross Funnybooks). He is also the creator of the sci-fi comic WHATZIT (Heavy Metal/Virus). He is the co-creator of the auto-bio Anthology WAIT…It Get’s Worse (With Doug Latino). His work has been featured in Heavy Metal and MAD Magazine, Z2 Comics (The Weird Al Yankovic and Cheech & Chong graphic novels), Disney, Cartoon Network, and The New York Times.
Gideon teaches Drawing at The School of Visual Arts in NYC.
Gideon grew up on a commune in rural Appalachia and escaped to go to college in NYC. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his partner and fellow artist Julie Peppito and their son Milo. His hobbies include cooking, oil painting, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and exploring Brooklyn on a bicycle.
