Hello all!
It has been a jam-packed summer with behind-the-scenes work to make Indie Comics Creator Con 2025 bigger and better, but now, the promotional side starts in motion. Last weekend, I was at Terrificon, talking with and supporting indie creators; this Saturday, I will be at Eddie P Comic Con in West Mifflin, PA.
Organized by Ed Piskor’s family and friends, the show features several creators from IC3. The eight-hour drive will be worth it to chat with friends, new and old. Join us if you can. Jim Rugg and Tom Scioli are the featured guests.

Creator Spotlight: Mahdi Khene
Mahdi Khene is a New York City-based cartoonist and publisher. In 2021, Co-founder of Zuperhero Comics and creator of STEEL STREETS and BOOTLEG SPIDER-MAN. Mahdi is also an amazing creator, a great person, and a pleasure to chat with. After this interview, I have so many more questions for him. We will talk again, and I need to travel down his musical career and influences.
What questions do you want me to ask in the following creator interview?

We Made A Comic!
The concept is that a few indie world characters collide with a few creators going to IC3. The characters we are using are Cosmic Lion, the Baboon, and Tales of MFR Element Zero's Shunsuke Yamamoto.
'art and colors definitely capture the spirit of the show. Tony McMillen inspired us all with his creation of the Markmaker. Geoffrey Krawczyk designed the cover. Comix Well Spring printed the book. You can read the IC3 2025 Ashcan here for free: GlobalComix.com
