Cartoonist: Anthony Bartolacci

I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony Bartolacci at Eddie P Con this past year, and I quickly became a fan of both his incredible art style and his character. The only catch? Anthony is from Philly and, of course, is loyal to all those questionable sports teams. But don’t worry—I’ll have my New Jersey Devils jersey on hand, just in case he needs a little reminder of who’s the boss, haha!

Anthony Bartolacci is a self-taught amateur cartoonist from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, who is currently residing in Lower Bucks County, PA. He has been drawing whimsical nonsense and bad caricatures of coworkers to amuse himself his entire life. He made it a daily practice in 2017, as he constantly tries to improve by sketching on his iPad while commuting on the train to work, drawing at his desk at home, and doodling during mundane work calls. On two occasions, his art has been accepted into the Tröegs Brewing Art Gallery in Hershey, PA; he has competed in the Illustrated World Series three times and collaborated with multiple New Jersey and New York comedians on various projects.

Anthony has written and drawn three one-shot comics: BABIES ON A PLANE, SILVER FOX: GOLDEN OPS, and NUT JOBS. He also illustrated the one-shot comic CHECKERS ON THE BEACH, written by comedian Nick Fierro, and contributed 10 illustrations for comedian Vincent Brue’s memoir BRUBER (all on Amazon). Currently, Anthony is working on his creator-owned comic, DEMON NUN.
